Danes 2-1-0 at JoJo

6/22/13, Cornwall-On The -Hudson,NY- The University at Albany Summer Squad got together for some summer work at th JoJo Moore Tournament.  The Dane's SS came together slowly but picked up in the second half to defeat New Rochelle and cruised to an easy win vs Rockland.  North Jersey was a real test which Albany was not up for.  NoJo used their tough straight ahead attack to keep the Danes on their back foot.  NoJo racked up a 14 point lead and then traded scores with Albany the rest of the way.
"This Work put in urging the summer should pay dividends this fall." stated Coach Durant.  "We got to play some rugby in a setting the players are not used to and they had to figure things out for themselves both on and off the field.  I think they did a good job pulling together as a unit."  The JoJo is on behalf of White Plains Rugby Player. ,JoJo Moore ,who was injured years ago and is confined to a wheel chair.
